We meet again, Decathletes

Right-o kids, welcome to another intense episode of "Where Am I Ranked Now?!" This week, an unforeseen absence knocks a rookie out of the top ten; meanwhile, our two rookie captains make their way back into the top ten riding waves of outstanding scores (funnily enough, they are tied; I'm sure that boils both of their blood :-D), and the two newest teams continue to dominate the veterans, though the 2nd and 4th place teams of yesterweeks managed to pull the old switcheroo on the 1st and 3rd place teams. And of course, let us not forget how much we all hated that Art test.

Here, ladies and gentlemen, are your scores and ranks. Please forgive the delay; in a fit of rage over an unknown (or perhaps, unknowable) subject, Coach Weatherford's ability to do addition was compromised, and much double-checking was necessary.

And now, I have the unfortunate duty to inform you all that we have only one meeting remaining to us this summer. I know, I know, I cried too. The meeting cometh, August 2nd, 2006. We shall be testing over two things: 1) the Introduction to Superquiz and the first part of Section 1, ending on page eight (you needn't read the second column of page eight unless you really want to, as we won't be tested over that just yet), and 2) the one you've been looking forward to all summer, the test over "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck. This is yet another reminder to you fiends who don't have the book: Buy the book! Read it! Or face Doc's wrath! (I would say Mr. Lindsey's wrath, but let's face it: no one's scared of that guy. :-D)
